Strangely, I have found that duplicating a vocal comp and bandpassing the upper mid frequencies and then sending the signal to vocal synth2 will smooth many of these issues.

If you happen to have a vocal recording with a AAA frequency balance, these issues are even more profound. I have found that even extremely well recorded vocals cause a litany of glitchy artifacts in just about every module featured in the plugin. It demands attention and very frequently sounds more avant-garde than it is actually advertised. And in the end, it struggles with feeling natural and musical. This doesn't mean it is a bad plugin, but you might be mislead by the myriad of effects modules and pitch correction algorithms they stuff into this thing.

This means that if you want a straightforward, clean harmonizer effect, this actually is NOT the plugin to use. Vocal synth 2 has a futuristic sound and is designed purposely to have that aesthetic. The reason my review is somewhat low is that this is not the type of tool you go to grab a great harmonizer effect for your vocals. It also happens to be fairly economic on CPU load if you are smart when using it. Productions are getting more and more creative with laying futuristic effects onto vocal comps and the more you dig into this plugin, the more possibilities come about.
